Lillie Coit
Surprisingly SF is not great at late night food. Lillie Coit’s is on a mission to change that. Boisterous, delicious, and home of the ever-charming Nick, our favorite bartender.
Il Casaro Pizza
Simply delicious, casual, and the place we go most often for a team lunch.
Verjus
Recently re-opened and we couldn’t be happier. French small plates and interesting delicious wines. A glass of cold chablis and a dozen oysters at the bar is a solid solo move.
Bix
We’ll say it twice, because it belongs on every list. Supper club vibes. Live jazz. Proper cocktails.
Maison Nico
For pâté en croûte, canelés, and other French delights—a bit of Paris located in North Beach just a few short steps from the shop. Great for a morning pastry or frenchie lunch.
Cotogna
Refined Italian with a wood-fired twist. A favorite for special nights and long lunches.
Harris’ Restaurant
SF’s best old school steakhouse.
The Brazen Head
Not actually close to the shop but the vibes are so good we feel compelled to mention it. Tucked inside a Pacific Heights apartment building, it feels like the place a local boozehound sports writer would hang out… and they did.
Where To Caffeinate
Chapel Coffee
Calm, quiet, and beautifully designed. Feels like a break from the city, even though it’s in it.
Reveille
A modern standby. Well-sourced beans and good energy.
The Coffee Movement
Friendly, focused, and precise. One of the best coffee programs in the city.
Postscript
They have a little bit of everything from fresh cut flowers to grab and go lunches plus they carry YOLO Journal!
