True Bespoke Suiting
Our Flagship Custom Program
Our True Bespoke Program is meant for those who desire the best and have the time to appreciate the process. We craft each garment entirely in-house in the tailoring workshop above our showroom. This garment is fully made by hand. Through it, we honor the craft and tradition of the tailoring trade.
Expect this process to take upwards of 6 months. Also, given the extra steps of the bespoke process, you’ll need to dedicate more time for fittings. If you have an eminent deadline, we would strongly suggest our semi-bespoke suiting program as an alternative. The bespoke process is not intended for strict deadlines and we do not take rush orders.

First Fitting
We begin with a fitting where we take 60+ raw measurements and use a fitting garment for reference. Photos will be taken in order to assess posture and asymmetries for our tailors to review. If you are booking a bespoke fitting, please note this in your appointment booking.

Second Fitting
The second session will be a try-on with a basted sample garment in order to perfect the fit before cutting into your actual cloth. After this fitting is complete, we will adjust your paper pattern, strike it onto your cloth, and move forward with cutting your cloth and lining.

Third Fitting
The next fitting will be with your actual garment in a basted state, enabling us to edit the pattern further in the event something needs to be balanced or shifted. Once the fit is double-checked here, we will move on with the finalizing of your garment.

Final Fitting and Delivery
The final appointment is a chance to confirm the fit is best-in-class. Assuming we’re both happy, at this point you may take the bespoke piece home.

Semi-Bespoke Suiting
Efficient Without Compromising Quality
Our Semi-Bespoke program is an efficient and practical way of crafting tailored clothing without sacrificing any hand work in its construction. Garments we offer in our semi-bespoke program include Sportcoats, Trousers, Waistcoats, Overcoats/Topcoats, Safari Jackets, and Tuxedos/Dinner Jackets. Every garment we make features over 90% hand-construction. Jackets are always made with a full-floating horse hair full canvas piece.

First Fitting
If you’re ready to work with us on commissioning a custom suit or tuxedo, we’ll spend 90 minutes guiding you through an initial fitting. During this appointment, we’ll take measurements, help you choose cloth, and advise on garment style details. We start with our proprietary house-pattern and will build your personalized fit profile based on 60+ raw measurements and postural observations.
Styling of the garment is also done during this appointment and while we have a preferred house style that epitomizes our brand's aesthetic, we understand that each client has their own vision. So, we treat each project as a collaboration to ensure that your suit not only embodies our signature style but also incorporates personal touches that reflect your individuality.

Second Fitting
When your piece arrives—we quote a minimum of 2 months—you’ll try it on so we can dial in the fit. We have a tailoring team and a workshop above the showroom. Together, we’ll make any needed adjustments to perfect the fit. Generally this happens in 1-2 rounds of alterations.

Final Fitting and Delivery
You’ll try on the piece one last time when you pick it up. And, assuming it meets our standards, then it’s yours.

Custom Shirting
Robust Customization For Any Style
We can craft nearly any shirt you have in mind—there are dozens of collar styles (and permutations within those styles), cuff styles, pocket styles, buttons, front and back styles, and monogramming options. Our shirts range from classic dress, formal tuxedo, to casual, like a safari-style short-sleeve or a snap-button western-yoke denim shirt.
Cloth selections are also vast in terms of quality, color, and pattern. We typically recommend Italian-origin cloths from Thomas Mason, Albini, and Canclini due to their remarkable quality and selection.

First Fitting
Typically, most clients jump right into this appointment. Custom shirting appointments are roughly 30-45 minutes. We’ll take your body measurements and have you try on a fit garment so we can get on the same page about your fit preferences. This is when you’ll choose a fabric and we’ll guide you through the design process.

Second Fitting
This is a quick try-on to make sure you’re happy with the fit. If so, you can take it home and we’ll co-design the subsequent shirts based on this one. If not, we’ll make adjustments in our tailoring workshop upstairs and apply those changes to your shirt pattern. Then we’ll order your remaining shirts.

Final Fitting and Delivery
If your first shirt required alterations (which they often do not), you’ll pick it up along with your subsequent two shirts. From here, we can reorder any shirts for you at any time. No fitting or in-person appointment needed, and no minimums apply. We can also correspond via email and send you photos of shirt swatches and can even ship the shirts to your location of choice upon completion.

Orders & Delivery
Can I change or cancel my order?
If production on a garment has already begun and a refund is requested, we can provide a 50% refund.
If you would like additional time to consider your order before committing, we are happy to delay its submission. Keep in mind that our production timeline does not start until the order is placed.
For reference, Shirting typically begins production within 24 hours of placing an order. Suiting, coating, and trousers begin production within 48 hours of placing an order.
Can I get a refund after my suit is delivered?
Since each garment is made specifically for your measurements and design preferences, Tailors’ Keep is unable to offer refunds or exchanges. If you have a concern, please contact us.
Can you guarantee my suit will be ready by a certain date?
While we can normally quote timeframes with near-perfect accuracy, sometimes things happen that are out of our control. We always try our best but cannot guarantee on-time delivery nor assume liability for delays. We will, of course, advise you with your timeline in mind to ensure we stay ahead of your schedule. If you’re buying a suit for an event and are unsure about timing, email us first and let’s chat.
How long should I expect to wait for my shirt to be made?
Our custom shirts can take 3-4 weeks depending on fabric and construction. We’re happy to walk you through options in an in-person consultation or quick phone call.
Why do you have a 3-shirt minimum for shirts?
This minimum applies to our first time custom shirt clients.
Here's why we have this policy:
We've found that by making one shirt as a test sample, we are able to ensure not only a proper fit template, but also able to ensure the styling is an accurate representation of your vision. Once we lock in the style and fit of the first shirt, it is turn-key to make the rest of the set - and then any future shirts you may desire (for future orders, you may order singles).
Care & Storage
How do I care for my suit?
We recommend dry-cleaning as seldom as possible. Our suiting is made of natural fibers that perform best when not stripped of their oils. If the garment acquires stains that cannot be spot cleaned, or begins to have an odor, we then recommend dry cleaning with naturally derived cleaning solutions.
If your suit starts to show wrinkles after wear or travel, we suggest you steam it or simply hang it up in the bathroom while you shower. If it needs to be pressed, we suggest taking it to a professional. Incorrect pressing can burn or warp the fibers that comprise your suit.
Lastly, a custom suit is a luxury, hand-constructed garment. We recommend you treat it as such and do not put it under undue stress. We don’t guarantee our suits for use in exercise or dance floor splits—save those for your spandex.
How do I care for my shirt?
We recommend laundering with cold water, hanging dry and pressing, or dry cleaning. Washing with cold water minimizes the risk of shrinkage.
How should I store my suit?
Store suiting in the garment bag we provide in a dry, clean area. You can add cedar blocks or chips in your bag to help keep moths away.
Alterations & Reorders
Is it possible to get further alterations on my suit down the road?
We offer adjustments as part of our initial service up to 90 days after your suiting or shirting is delivered to you. If you would like additional adjustments after this time period, we provide a 25% discount on continuing alterations to custom-made Tailors' Keep garments.
For garments that are not picked up or tried on within 90 days—3 months—of their arrival, we offer a 25% discount on fit-related (letting out/taking in) alterations if needed.
How do I reorder a suit?
Reordering is easy. Once we complete the fitting process and are happy with the fit, we’ll save your measurements on file. For future orders, you’ll only need to choose fabric and style details to create additional custom garments. We are happy to ship the garment to you once it is complete, with applicable shipping rates and fees.
