Shop Style Series - William
A weekly look at the team and how each person puts things together. It’s a mix of custom pieces, vintage finds, and the personal choices that shape how they dress day to day. Some items are available in the shop, and we’ll also highlight a few of our favorite accessories along the way.
From William:
Wearing your alma mater’s letterman jacket out and about screams, “I peaked in school.” Wearing a 1960s satin baseball coach jacket, on the other hand, does not.
Paired with a light blue brushed cotton workshirt from Albini that I made this fall, a wool turtleneck base layer, and a heavy twill charcoal trouser made from Fox Brothers, it helped me walk the block on the way to get an aggressively drippy, stacked Italian Reuben for lunch.
I love these L.G.R shades. They’re available in the shop — Jumbo Sun, Black Yellow, for your reference.
I like to alternate my watch rotation from day to day. Today I’m wearing a vintage 1962 Hamilton Grey, a one-off model from that year. Another constant on my wrist is an admittedly fake David Yurman cable bracelet that my father bought from a street vendor in LA in the early ’80s. Heirlooms are rare in my family, but having these pieces with me is a treasure I genuinely love.
