The film from our July gathering just came back from the developer. There’s something special about waiting for film. A little time passes, and when the photographs finally arrive, you get to relive the evening all over again.

Back in July, we gathered at Tailors’ Keep to celebrate our collaboration with WM Brown on Alden’s Leisure Handsewn Loafer and the release of the new WM Brown Summer Issue. The issue’s cover features Alessandro Pirounis, who happened to be in town for the evening, along with our menswear pals Angel Ramos and Damien Broderick, and Craig and Kurt from Vogel Bespoke in NYC.

One of the things we love most about these gatherings is the chance to connect with the larger menswear community. Matt and Yolanda have built an incredible network of friends around the world, and it was great to have a little piece of that come together in San Francisco.

The weather cooperated, the Negronis made with St. George Spirits landed perfectly, and we poured rosé from Hudson Ranch Vineyards alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc from Faust.

San Francisco gets a bad rap for not wanting to dress up, but every time we send out an invitation, people prove otherwise.
